Mia’s Kitchen 279 is a fusion cuisine style food trailer & catering company based out of Elk Grove, CA. Bringing together ingredients from different cultures and merging recipes. Mia Henry is the owner and executive chef.
Mia has always enjoyed cooking. Growing up, she would always watch and assist her mom in the kitchen until she began creating meals of her own. Her friends and family would request her meals for family gatherings and parties. Mia would also bring dishes to work for her co-workers and church events and get amazing reactions to the taste and quality of her food.
Mia's first job was at Rubio's Fresh Mexican Grill in Natomas at the age of 16. When she left Rubio's, she went to work for La Salsa Fresh Mexican Grill in Arden Fair Mall at the age of 17. This is when Mia discovered her passion for cooking.

Mia Henry is a 36-year-old single mother of two. She is of the Christian faith. Mia is a homeowner and entrepreneur. She received basic culinary training through school & online courses, but her culinary skills are self taught. She's also a music artist, tax preparer, and cosmetologist.
Mia is considered a jackie of all trades. She takes her talent and creativity into the kitchen. She is a perfectionist that focuses on presentation as well as taste. She has received nothing but positive reviews and referrals.
